EAW Apel

ERNST APEL GmbH is a company with a fine tradition: Founded by Ernst Apel Senior in 1919, the manufacture and distribution of products for dentistry represented initially its main occupation. Other fields of acitivity were, inter alia, the repair of electric motors, electroplating, and bicycle trade.

The development and manufacture of scope mounts started after the Second World War and became soon the principal activity of EAW (Ernst Apel Würzburg). The breakthrough came with the introduction of the EAW pivot mounts in the late sixties, which have been unparalleled to this day. All over the world, the EAW trade name has been a synonym for highest precision, perfect reliability, consistent innovation, and an excellent customer service ever since.
